some operas I have seen on video

Vincenzo Bellini, La Sonnambula (1831)
Teatro Dell'Opera di Roma, 2024

A beautifully sung Sonnambula slathered with video and scenery effects that make following the story extremely difficult. Fortunately, there is not much story to follow in La Sonnambula: boy has girl, girl starts sleepwalking, boy temporarily loses girl. So the result (at least on video, which elides a lot of the in-theater video in favor of close-ups) is entertaining enough provided you already know the story.
