This lovely production puts Cendrillon and Le Prince Charmant onstage most of the time, each of them appearing as quasi-supernumeraries in scenes where the libretto has no place for them. It is initially a bit hard to follow, but plays into the theme that each of them is dreaming about the other much of the time.
